چکیده
3-Allyl-1-silaindenes are synthesised from alkynes having an allylsilane moiety by a gold-catalysed intramolecular trans-allylsilylation reaction.

Gold-catalysed alkenyl- and arylsilylation reactions forming 1-silaindenes.
In the presence of gold(I)-phosphine catalysts, alkenyl- and arylsilanes undergo intramolecular cyclisation reactions onto appendant alkyne moieties to afford 1-silaindene derivatives. The reaction pathways vary depending on the substituent on silicon.

2-Allyl-1-vinyl-β-carbolines and dihydropyrrolo-β-carbolines react with activated internal alkynes through novel rearrangement reactions leading to complex polycyclic structures. Favored reaction pathways depend on reaction conditions and on the presence of gold catalysts. In particular, upon reaction with 2 equiv. of the alkyne, new hexacyclic structures 10 are formed with total stereocontrol.

The cycloisomerisation of simple keto-alkynes proceeds at room temperature under the mild conditions of gold catalysis. Bicyclic fused and spiro compounds can be obtained by overall 5-exo and 6-exo carbon-carbon bond-forming cyclisations.
متن کاملIntramolecular coupling of allyl carboxylates with allyl stannanes and allyl silanes: a new type of reductive elimination reaction?
The palladium-catalyzed intramolecular coupling of allyl stannanes with allyl carboxylates provides a general synthesis of five- and six-membered-ring carbocycles. The intramolecular coupling leads selectively to trans five-membered carbocycles and cis six-membered carbocycles, regardless of the cis or trans configuration of the allylic functions in the starting material. For example, the stere...
متن کاملEnantioselective synthesis of cyclic carbamimidates via a three-component reaction of imines, terminal alkynes, and p-toluenesulfonylisocyanate using a monophosphine gold(I) catalyst().
A racemic Au(I)-catalyzed three-component reaction has been developed to prepare cyclic carbamimidates from imines, terminal alkynes, and sulfonylisocyanates. This reaction exploits the carbophilic π-acidity of gold catalysts to first activate an alkyne toward deprotonation and secondly, to activate the internal alkyne generated toward intramolecular O-cyclization. Unlike similar previously rep...
